The Washington University Lil’ Bears Camp is about baseball, but no sport is enjoyable without it being fun and safe! Our college coaches will instruct your child on the basics of baseball, showing them how to field, throw, hit, bunt, and run the bases with the utmost of care. We will ensure your kids experience through drills that are both fun and instructive. Players will be grouped according to their approximate age and skill level.
If your child needs extra time in the morning and/or afternoon, for a small fee, members of our staff will be available to give your child extra coaching time.

Washington University Baseball accepts cancellations with 21-day notice but the program retains a 25% cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.
Should you need early drop-off or late pickup for your child, we can arrange for staff to oversee your child.
Location and Facilities
Washington University Baseball will hold most camp activities at Kelly Field at Irv Utz Stadium, the program’s baseball facility, which is located right off of Big Bend Boulevard and Forsyth Boulevard. All other activities will occur in the Athletic Complex across Forsyth.
Should rain occur during the week of camp, we will move players inside the Athletic Complex and employ our indoors curriculum — focusing on small group instruction, games, and competitions.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop off and pick up will be orchestrated along Shepley Drive, the road leading to the baseball field from Big Bend. Detailed information will be provided upon registration.

|MORNINGS||Mornings are the learning portions of the camp, and we will work with your child on proper fundamentals in two areas of baseball per day — whether it be hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, bunting, or baseball etiquette. The “lessons of the day” will focus on sportsmanship, team play, the “art of hustle”, setting and achieving realistic goals, and the importance of being a good student.|
|LUNCH||Lunch at noon is sponsored by Penn Station Subs and is included in the cost of registration. You are also welcome to pack a home-prepared lunch if your child has dietary restrictions or preferences.|
|AFTERNOONS||Afternoons are all about games. We’ll play pickle, run the bases, tee ball, wiffle ball, and many other baseball-related games that are sure to make the sport more fun for your child.|
