St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 26, 2019 – Washington University in St. Louis sophomore guard Jack Nolan was named to the D3hoops.com Men's Basketball Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.
Nolan scored 17 of his career-high 26 points in the second half to lift WashU past the University of Chicago Saturday in the season finale for both teams. The victory for WashU secured a second-place finish in the UAA. Nolan, who was 11-of-18 from the field, also tied his career-high with six assists and five steals.
Nolan started all 25 games at shooting guard this season and led the team averaging 16.1 points per contest. He scored in doubles figures in 21 of 25 contests, including a career-best 26 in season finale vs. the University of Chicago on Feb. 23. Nolan also connected on 42-of-45 (93.3%) free-throws, including 30-of-31 in conference play.
