St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 26, 2018 – Washington University in St. Louis sophomore guard Jack Nolan was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week, as announced by the Association Monday.
Nolan earns the honor for the second time in his career.
Nolan averaged 20.3 points per game and shot 49.0 percent from the field as WashU posted a 2-1 record for the week. He was named MVP of the Nicholas Investments Thanksgiving Classic in Waukesha, Wis. after averaging 22 points per contest over the weekend. Nolan scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting in an 89-70 win over Carthage Sunday.
He leads the conference in scoring (20.0 ppg), and has scored 17 or more points in all five games played.
