Twitter Time With Senior Sondra Polonsky
Q. What is your Twitter handle and how did you come up with it?
A. @spolonsky09. I used to use @sondjew, but as I started growing up and looking for jobs I decided to choose a more standard name.
Q. How often do you check Twitter?
A. A couple times a day at least, mostly when I'm bored in class or doing homework. Also when I think we have a softball schedule change, @wustlbears is definitely the most reliable source of information.
Q. What would you say is your average number of Tweets?
A. Maybe every few days, definitely more when we're on a road trip.
Q. Which of your teammates has the best Tweets and why?
A. @brookiehof can almost always make me laugh. @stankyhenky tweets are few and far between, but they are always gems. And @hilpantsky, always solid.
Q. The people I follow in softball are…
A. @ncaasoftball, and I usually add some more people during the Division I World Series. If baseball counts, I like to give @datdudebp a follow every once in a while.
Q. Someone who you wouldn't think I follow is…
A. @redlegnation. I'm a huge Cincinnati Reds fan, I check their tweets and read their articles constantly.
Q. The people whose tweets you can't miss…
A. All of my teammates. The ones mentioned above and @ashleyjanssen18, @babyareyoudowns, @m_mullen, @SMberg, @theKN17, @sydplaysthecon, @Lworthen6, and @AMPitkin. We spend enough time together that every tweet is bound to be funny.
Q. I wish_____was on Twitter.
A. SAAP, also known as our sophomores. @sydplaysthecon is the only representative of their class who tweets, and I think they could really add a lot to my enjoyment of twitter. They should maybe just have one joint twitter @SAAPySophomores.
Q. What Washington U. coach or staff member do you wish was on Twitter?
A. Definitely Coach Let. As funny as she would be now, I would be especially interested to go back in time to see her tweet her life as a player at Arizona. Also, Mike Frank.
Q. Describe your Twitter followers.
