Jim Conlon Named Head Women's Soccer Coach
Washington University athletics director John Schael named Jim Conlon as the new head women's soccer coach. Conlon arrives on the Danforth Campus after serving for eight seasons as the head women's and men's soccer coach at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He led the Knights' women's soccer team to its first ever NCAA Sectional berth in 2007.
Dillinger Resigns as Women's Soccer Coach
Washington University Director of Athletics John Schael announced Thursday that Wendy Dillinger has resigned as the Bears’ head women’s soccer coach to become the head coach at Iowa State University. Dillinger replaces Rebecca Hornbacher, who stepped down in December after leading the Cyclones for six seasons.
WU Places Four on NSCAA All-Central Region Team
Washington U. placed four student-athletes on the NSCAA/adidas Women’s Soccer All-Central Regional Team. Sophomore Caryn Rosoff and senior Carrie Sear were named to the first team, while sophomore Libby Held and sophomore Becca Heymann earned third-team accolades.

Four Named Jewish Sports Review All-America
Washington University in St. Louis had four soccer student-athletes named to the 2007 Jewish Sports Review College All-America First Team, as announced by the publication. Sophomores Libby Held, Becca Heymann, (right) and Caryn Rosoff of the women’s team earned the honor, while senior Elie Zenner (right) of the men’s squad picked up the accolade.
