W-Club logo Established in 1989, the W Club, comprised of alumni, parents, and friends, supports the continued growth, development, and enhancement of intercollegiate athletics to benefit Washington University's student-athletes, coaches, and the university community.

The W Club is a key factor in providing our students with the quality “Washington Experience” in Athletics. These alumni, parents and friends provide critically needed financial support to our Athletics program. As stakeholders, W Club members have a direct impact on each and every triumph achieved by our student-athletes and coaches.

The focus of the university’s Athletics program is to achieve team success through teamwork and team play. Teamwork provides our student-athletes the chance to move beyond one’s personal concerns and become part of something bigger. The results are meaningful learning experiences, championships and great memories.

Our Purpose

The W Club’s expectation is nothing less than we expect of our teams – to be the very best.

We strive to provide the best in support services, athletic facilities and academic opportunities for all of our student- athletes. This is only possible through the continued generosity of alumni, parents and friends involved in the W Club. By providing funding to meet the rising costs of financing a positive experience for student-athletes, former athletes, loyal alumni, parents and friends are able to connect on a very personal level with Bears’ student-athletes and teams.
