 Alberts Named to Academic All-America Second Team
Washington University senior outside hitter Alli Alberts was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America second team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Monday. Alberts earns Academic All-America honors for the first time in her career.

 Volleyball Places Five on AVCA All-America Teams
The Washington University volleyball team had five players earn AVCA All-America honors, as announced Tuesday. Senior Nikki Morrison was named to the first team, senior Alli Alberts to the second team, junior Erin Albers is a third-team selection, and senior Audra Janak and freshman Erin Kasson were honorable mention honorees.
 Defending Champs Fall to No. 8 Ohio Northern, 3-1
The No. 3 Washington University volleyball team was unable to overcome an early 2-0 deficit and saw its NCAA title defense come to an end with a 3-1 loss to No. 8 Ohio Northern University in the Midwest Regional Final of the 2008 NCAA Division III Tournament in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday.
