Men's Swimming and Diving Tops SLU, 122.5-100.5
The Washington University men's and women's swimming and diving teams opened their 2008-09 seasons with a home dual meet against Saint Louis University on Saturday afternoon. The WU men's team defeated the Billikens, 122.5-100.5, but the women lost, 153-83.

Three Bears Earn Academic All-America Recognition
Seniors Priya Srikanth and Meredith Nordbrock, and junior Kelly Kono of the Washington University in St. Louis women’s swimming and diving team were named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine College Division Academic All-America team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

 

 


Men's Swimming Places 13th at NCAA Championships
The Washington University men’s swimming and diving team finished in 13th place in the overall standings at the 2008 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships. The Bears earned their sixth-straight top-20 finish at the NCAA Championships.
