WU Swim Teams Earn Scholar All-America Honors
The Washington University men’s and women’s swimming teams earned 2009 Spring Team Scholar All-America honors, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The teams also combined to see nine student-athletes earn Scholar All-America or honorable mention Scholar All-America accolades.
Alex Beyer Named First-Team Academic All-America
Washington University in St. Louis junior Alex Beyer of the men’s swimming team was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America At-Large First Team and sophomore Isaac Stein of the men’s tennis team was named to the third team, as announced by CoSIDA.

WU Men 7th, Women 14th, at 2009 NCAA Champs
The Washington University men's and women's swimming teams combined to break four school records on the final day of the 2009 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championshis as the WU men placed seventh overall and the women came in 14th place.
