About Washington University Tennis Camps
The camp staff's diverse experience as college coaches, college players, tennis teaching professionals and lifelong learners of the game enable them to teach to each camper's learning style. The camp's learning environment is structured around exciting drills that reinforce the important aspects of tennis technique and strategy. At the same, fun is emphasized as a key component to learning. Positive instruction, energetic counselors, games, giveaways, game breaks and swim breaks contribute to the positive atmosphere of WUSTL's tennis camp program.
Kelly Stahlhuth is the Director of WUSTL tennis camps and Head Coach of WUSTL's Women's Tennis team. This is Coach Stahlhuth's ninth year at WUSTL. She has been a USPTA certified tennis instructor for 24 years. Coach Stahlhuth was a two-time All-American (1987 and 1989), a Big Ten Player of the year twice and a four-time conference selection in the Big Ten. Stahlhuth was inducted into the Indiana University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.
