Boys Showcase Soccer The High School Showcase Camp is specifically designed to introduce prospective student athletes to the WUSTL soccer program, July 13-16.

This camp's focus is on improving skills and decision making so expect lots of touches and idea planting. Each player will be evaluated and grouped according to their skill level and will be moved daily based on their performance. We believe the game is the best teacher so we will be playing and competing a lot. We will also have some chalk sessions to instruct players on how to see the game.

The showcase camp also provides high school players with a way to learn more about WUSTL and the soccer program and the chance to be evaluated as a prospect.

• meet with an admissions representative who highlights the extensive opportunities at WUSTL
• participate in a round table discussion with present WUSTL players and hear how they balance the demands of soccer, academics and social life
• interact with the WUSTL coaching staff and players during camp sessions
• meet other campers also considering WUSTL

This camp has been at or near its 120-player capacity for the past four or five years. 75% of the players at camp are entering their junior or senior year in high school. On average, we have campers from 25-30 different states and a few from oversees. In the past few years we have also had campers from Egypt, France, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica and Switzerland.


Registration and Payment

Travel and Accommodations

Campers should make arrangements to fly into St. Louis' Lambert Airport. A taxi from the airport will cost around $30. Alternatively, the MetroLink's Big Bend station is a 600-meter walk from the camp check-in area. The train can take campers directly to and from the airport terminals for $2.

Dorm Rooms
All campers will be housed in Washington University's modern dorms. If you have a roommate preference, include a note with your application with your desired roommate's name. Room assignments are made prior to the camp session and no changes will be made at check-in.

If you are arriving on Saturday before camp, you can make arrangements to stay in the dorms for an additional $50. There are also many hotels conveniently located near campus.

Meals will be served by WUSTL's award-winning university food service, Bon Appétit. A wide selection of entrees and other food will be served in our on-campus dining facilities.

Check In and Departure
Camp registration begins at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Danforth dormitory in the South 40 area of campus. Go to the registration area upon your arrival. We will be on the field by 11 a.m. but will continue to man the check-in desk throughout the morning. Joe's cell phone number is 314-799-6111.

Camp will be dismissed and campers out of the dorms by 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16.


The camp sessions will be held in the Athletic Complex at the west end of the Danforth campus of Washington University in St. Louis, off of Big Bend Boulevard and Forsyth Boulevard.

The South 40 is where most of the WUSTL dormitories are located. A map will be provided with your registration material.


 Commuting campers will start the day at breakfast at 8:15 AM. The day will conclude somewhere between 9-10 p.m. Dorm space will be available to store equipment and all meals are provided.
