2016 Bears Basketball Camp

One-week day camp for boys and girls, ages 10-15, of all skill levels.

Bears Basketball Camp is grouped by gender, age, and skill level. All activities will be conducted inside the beautiful air-conditioned facilities of the Washington University in St. Louis Athletic Complex. Members of the WUSTL Basketball staff will provide fundamental teaching while college players and high school coaches will serve as camp counselors. To assure the best possible teaching environment, only a limited number of participants are accepted.


Full session fees, per child, are due at time of enrollment. Limited enrollment – programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration and Payment

Refund Policy
Refunds are available through the start of the camp session. Two weeks prior to the registered camp session, a $50 fee/session is applied. Less than two weeks prior to the registered camp session, a $70 fee/session is applied. Once camp has started, there are no refunds.


Check-In for all enrolled campers will take place on the Monday of each session, between 8:30 - 9 am. Once a camper reports for camp, they will be expected to spend the entire day at camp unless arrangements are made by a parent or guardian.

Location and Facilities
Bears Basketball Camp is located in the WUSTL Athletic Complex at the west end of the Danforth campus of Washington University in St. Louis, off of Big Bend Boulevard and Forsyth Boulevard.

Specific areas are designated for parking and another for drop-off and pick-up. Download the Parking, Pick-Up and Drop of Map. Directions will also be mailed to enrolled campers.

Instructors and counselors will be present daily from 8 am to 5:30 pm.

On Friday, the campers will be dismissed at 4 pm, following the Awards Ceremony. We invite you to join us for any of the camp activities.

12 p.m. Lunch:
Campers may choose to bring a snack lunch, go home with a parent, or eat at a campus dining facility. On-site lunch hour supervision will be provided.
1 p.m. Camp Assembly

2:20 p.m. Camp Assembly
3:30 p.m. Swim, Film or Game
4:30 p.m. Dismissal

Awards Ceremony
We invite you to join us at 3 p.m. on Friday for the camp Awards Ceremony. Please park in the garage located off of Forest Park Parkway and Throop Road.

Optional Swimming
An hour of swimming is offered for two days of each camp session. Campers who choose to go swimming should bring swimsuits and towels.
