Iris Wright is in her first season as the Department of Athletics accounting assistant at Washington University in St. Louis.
Among her responsibilities, she manages the accounts for baseball, cross country, men's and women's soccer, softball, swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, track and field and volleyball. During the summer months, Wright serves as the point person for all athletic summer camps hosted on campus, managing the camp's income and expenses.
Prior to her move to the Department of Athletics, Wright served as an administrative assistant for the Religious Studies, Jewish, Islamic and NE programs in the Washington University College of Arts & Sciences. Wright also worked as an administrative assistant in the Student Records office.
Wright graduated from St. Louis Community College in 1985 with a degree in business administration. She and her husband, Ron, have two children: Bryan (32) and Angie (29).
