Kari Osborne enters her first year as the assistant director of intramurasl and club sports at Washington University in St. Louis.
Osborne arrives at Washington University after earning her master's degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois University in 2009.
She spent the past summer as an intern with the Kannapolis Intimidators, a Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Osborne created and executed in-game promotions, planned and organized community service events, and developed marketing and promotions materials for team events.
She previously served as a Graduate Assistant in the Campus Recreation-Intramurals office at Western Illinois University. Osborne’s duties included scheduling intramural leagues and tournaments, managing staff, and directing the marketing and promotions for all intramural events. She also served four months (May 2008-August 2008) as an intern for the Kingsport Mets baseball team.
A Fort Blackmore, Va., native, Osborne received her bachelor's degree in history from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2007.
