Mike Berry enters his first year as an assistant athletic trainer at Washington University in St. Louis.
Berry will oversee sport coverage for men's and women's soccer, swimming & diving, baseball and women's tennis. He was promoted to assistant athletic trainer after spending the first six months as an intern.
Berry arrives on the Danforth Campus after spending the past six months as the team athletic trainer for The Harlem Globetrotters. He also served as an athletic trainer at Chaminade College Preparatory in St. Louis for eight years, and as an athletic trainer/physical therapy staff member at West County Sports Fitness and Rehabilitation Center for four years.
Berry graduated with a bachelor's degree in U.S. History from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993, and received his master's degree in physical education, recreation and dance from Illinois State University in 1995.
He is also an active member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA). |
