Men Finish with Perfect Score; Women Place Second

RESULTS

Naperville, Ill., Nov. 3, 2016 – The Washington University in St. Louis men's cross country team finished with seven of the top-8 times as it won the North Central College Red/White Invitational on Thursday night as the women's team placed second overall. 

Senior Mike Sullivan led the men's race with a time of 15:16.97 while he was followed in order by Paul d'Ambrosio (15:20.18), Chris Blagg (15:23.93), Tommy Fruhauf (15:24.43), Zac Christensen (15:25.33) and Jack Sebok (15:27.86). The Bears men scored a perfect score of 15 points as they crossed the finish line with the top five times. Wheaton College placed second with 49 points.

The women were led by sophomore Jeri Glicksman's 18:14.97 time during the three mile run. Lisa Gorham, Mariel Lutz and Carlye Chaney joined Glicksman with top-10 times. The WashU women placed second out of seven teams competing with 37 points. Host institute North Central (Ill.) College was first with 29 points scored.
