Erin Swaller is in her fifth season as an assistant women's tennis coach at Washington University in St. Louis after rejoining the team after a four-year hiatus. Swaller was also assistant coach during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.
WashU has recorded a 61-32 overall record and made four NCAA Tournament appearances (2010, 2011, 2016, 2017) during her four seasons, with NCAA Quarterfinal appearances the past two seasons.
A 2009 WashU alum, she played two seasons for the Bears and two seasons at Hendrix College. Swaller primarily played No. 1 singles, in addition to No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. She obtained both a national singles and doubles ranking during her career, and recorded a 52-50 overall record.
Upon graduation, Swaller pursued a Master of Public Health at WashU and was a member of the Brown School’s inaugural class. Post graduate school, Swaller worked in research for a local big data & analytics firm. She currently works for Nestle Purina as the Corporate Communications Insights Analyst.
