Borovsky and Tripathy Named to UAA All-Tournament Team

St. Louis, Mo., April 27, 2017 — The Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team had two student-athletes named to the 2017 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship All-Tournament Team, as announced Thursday by the Association.

Senior Mindy Borovsky and freshman Sanjna Tripathy were named to the 12-person team at No. 3 Doubles. Bridget Harding of Emory University earned Most Valuable Player honors.

Borovsky and Tripathy went undefeated at No. 3 doubles, recording wins over No. 19 Brandeis University (9-8), No. 9 University of Chicago (9-7) and No. 11 Carnegie Mellon University (8-3). The duo has a 10-9 record at No. 3 doubles this season.

WashU posted a 1-2 record at the 2017 UAA Championship Tournament to finish in fourth place. The Bears have a 12-10 overall record and are ranked No. 10 in NCAA Division III.
