No. 10 WashU Falls to No. 8 Chicago in Midwest Invite Final

Madison, Wis., April 8, 2017 – The No. 10-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team suffered a 5-4 loss to No. 8 University of Chicago in the championship match of the 2017 Midwest Invitational Saturday in Madison, Wis. The teams meet again April 16 in St. Louis.

Chicago improved to 12-3 with the win, while WashU had its four-match win streak snapped and dropped to 9-7.
