Ho Wins Third-Place Match in Singles at ITA Oracle Cup

Surprise, Ariz., Oct. 15, 2016 – Washington University in St. Louis senior Rebecca Ho posted a straight-set victory in the third-place match at the 2016 ITA Oracle Cup Saturday at Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club in Surprise, Ariz.

Ho, the No. 3 seed, recorded a 6-2, 6-3 victory over top seed Caroline Casper of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. She finished finished the fall with a 9-1 mark in singles.

On Friday, Ho and senior Kaylan Griffith captured third-place honors in doubles.

The ITA Oracle Cup is comprised of eight regional champions (and/or at-large selections) for both singles and doubles from NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community Colleges. The singles and doubles champions at each divisional level then compete to become the overall "Super Bowl" champions.
