Aly Coran and Rebecca Ho Earn ITA All-America Honors


St. Louis, Mo., June 10, 2016 — Washington University in St. Louis senior Aly Coran and junior Rebecca Ho were named to the 2016 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women's All-America Team, as announced Friday by the organization.

Coran and Ho earned All-America honors in doubles after winning the 2015 USTA/ITA Central Region Championship in the fall. Ho also picked up All-America accolades in singles after advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2016 NCAA Division III Championship in the spring.

"I am so proud of Aly and Rebecca for being the latest women's tennis players to earn All-American Honors. They are wonderful ambassadors for our program as they are true team players who always have put the best interest of the team first," said head coach Kelly Stahlhuth. "They earned these individual honors through hard work and their dedication to their games.  It is a true privilege to be out on the court with them during their singles and doubles matches to support and encourage them.  Aly and Rebecca are "True Bears" through and through."

Coran recorded a 29-20 overall record in her final season on the Danforth Campus, including a 9-6 mark with Ho in doubles. She finished her career sixth in school history with 132 victories – 75-34 in doubles and 57-37 in singles.

Ho concluded the 2015-16 season with a 44-21 overall record, including a 23-7 mark in singles. A five-time All-America selection, she enters her senior year ranked fifth in school history with 134 career wins.
