No. 9 Women's Tennis Posts 9-0 Sweep of Rhodes

St. Louis, Mo., March 25, 2016 – The No. 9-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team swept doubles for the fourth time this season en route to a 9-0 victory over Rhodes College Friday evening at WashU's Tao Tennis Center.

After the doubles sweep game WashU a 3-0 lead, senior Jamie Silverberg (No. 2) and freshman Lisa Chionis (No. 5) both won their singles matches in straight sets to clinch the match for the Bears.

• Senior Aly Coran moved into a tie for eighth with Lauren Zwick (2002-06) on the Bears' all-time wins list with 122.
• Junior Rebecca Ho reached 111 career victories, tying Kat Copiozo (1998-2002) for 16th on the all-time wins leaderboard.
• Sophomore Grace Deering earned her 65th career win with the victory at No. 1 doubles.
