Rebekah Roller enters her first season as a full-time assistant coach for the Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team.

Roller replaces Randi Simmons, who was named the head women’s soccer coach at Napa Valley College in St. Helena, Calif.

Upon graduation from DePaul University in 2014, Roller spent two years playing professional soccer. She played for Merilappi United in the Finnish Premiere League in 2015, and was on the Chicago Red Stars roster in the National Women’s Soccer League during the summer of 2016. She concluded her playing career in January 2017 after spending six months with A.S.D. Mozzanica in the Italian Premiere League.

During her playing days at DePaul, Roller scored two goals and had 10 assists from the midfield while tying the school record for most career starts (80) and games played (82).

As a senior, Roller helped lead the Blue Demons to the Big East Conference Tournament Championship game and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. She was a second-team All-Big East selection in 2013 after starting all 21 games.

Roller earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from DePaul, while double majoring in communication studies, communication and media studies. She was named to the DePaul Dean’s List every quarter of enrollment and also to the DePaul Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Roller was also a four-time Big East All-Academic Team member.
