Entering her third season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Washington University in St. Louis is Caitlin Malone.
A two-time first-team all-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection, Malone guided Washington U. to three conference titles and three Sweet 16 appearance. The Bears posted a 60-18-3 mark in her four seasons on the Danforth Campus, including a 21-7 conference mark.
Malone had a breakout season in 2007, scored nine goals and recording four assists for 22 points. She led the team in game-winning goals with five, and scored game-winners in three-consecutive games.
The Valparaiso, Ind., native ranks fifth in school history in game-winning goals (5) and 11th in goals (22), and is third on the WUSTL single-season list with five game-winning goals in 2007.
Malone graduated from Washington University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She is in her second year of pursuing an MBA at Washington U., with set graduation of Spring 2014.
