Tsai and Dai Earn All-Tournament Honors at UAA Championship

Palm Coast, Fla.., March 10, 2019 – The No. 13-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team finished runner-ups in the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship at the Hammock Beach Resort-Conservatory Course.

Freshmen Lydia Tsai and Julia Dai earned All-Tournament honors placing third and fifth respectively. The Bears overall shot 56 shots over par with a 632 (320, 312). After trailing by four-strokes following the first round, WashU worked to within a single stroke of becoming UAA Champions. No. 8-ranked New York University won the title, 631 (316, 315).

Tsai tied for third overall with a two-day total of 11-over par. She shot five-over par on day two 77, while Dai placed fifth, 158 (78, 80).

Senior Sabrina Ho posted one of the top second round scored, five-over par 77, and placed sixth overall, 159 (82, 77). Senior Chloe DiPetrillo also had a strong second round, shooting six-over par 78, which propelled her to tie for seventh place, 161 (83, 78).

Junior Emily Carnes placed 11th with a two day total of 162 (82, 80). Freshman Rachel Rhee tied for 16th place, 166 (82, 84).
