No. 13 WashU Four-Strokes Off the Lead at UAA Championships

Palm Coast, Fla., March 9, 2019 – The No. 13-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team is in second place at the conclusion of the first round of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships at Hammock Beach Resort-Conservatory Course.

The Bears shot 320 in the opening round and are four-strokes off the lead of No. 8-ranked New York University. No. 15-ranked Carnegie Mellon shot 321 to open the weekend.

Freshmen Julia Dai and Lydia Tsai are tied for second place with six-over par 78s. Senior Sabrina Ho, junior Emily Carnes and freshman Rachel Rhee are tied for 11th with 10-over 82s. Senior Chloe DiPetrillo finished round one tied for 15th place with an 11-over 83.
