Women’s Golf Trio Competes at Callaway Gardens

Pine Mountain, Ga., March 2, 2019 – No. 10-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's golf had three members of its program compete in the Callaway Garden's Collegiate Invite on Saturday, March 2 at the Callaway Gardens Golf Course.

Round one of the invitational was cancelled due to rain on Friday. WashU had all three of its golfers place in the top-60 out of 88 golfers total.

Freshman Julia Dai led the way with a five-over par 78 while senior Sabrina Ho posted the Bears second best mark of 84. Junior Emily Carnes tallied a score of 90.

Dai had eight pars on the front-nine before firing five more on the back-nine. Ho had six pars on the front-nine and then recorded back-to-back birdies on the 15th and 16th holes, both par-five. Carnes round included three pars on the front-nine.
