No. 8 WashU Tops Lindenwood for Fourth Straight Win

St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 22, 2018 – The No. 8 Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team finished 32 strokes ahead of Division II Lindenwood University in a dual meet at Tapawingo Golf Club on a brisk fall Saturday evening in St. Louis.

The Bears finished with 307 strokes led by freshman Lydia Tsai's season-low and medalist honor capturing one-under par 71. Lindenwood shot 339 on the par 288 course.

Junior Samantha Haubenstock and freshman Alyssa Kim tied for second place with the Lion's Josefina Haupt with six-over 78s.

Senior Chloe DiPetrillo concluded the Bears counting scores with an 80, while taking fifth out of 16 golfers. Freshman Julia Dai rounded out the WashU lineup with an 84 to tie for seventh.

Senior Hanna Jia led the Bears individuals with an 83, while Rachel Rhee also shot in the 80s with an 84. Junior Emily Carnes and senior Sabrina Ho finished with 94s.
