Port to be Inducted into Missouri Golf Association Hall of Fame

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 19, 2018 – Head Washington University in St. Louis women's golf coach Ellen Port is being inducted into the Missouri Golf Association Hall of Fame Friday evening at the Meadowbrook Country Club, along with Judy Rankin and Barbara Berkmeyer.

Port has accumulated seven United States Golf Association (USGA) titles, which is tied for second most all-time, while winning four USGA Women's Mid Amateur titles and three USGA Women's Senior Amateur titles.

In addition, Port has won nine Missouri Amateur Championships in her career with six runner-up finishes as well.

Last year Port was named the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Central Region Coach of the Year as four Bears were also honored with All-Region accolades while Samantha Haubenstock earned the 12th All-American honor in program history.
