Jekyll Island, Ga., March 19, 2016 – The No. 8-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team had four players break 80 Saturday on day two of the 13th Annual Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Invitational held at the historic Indian Mound course in Jekyll Island, Ga.
WashU fired a 309 in the second round and vaulted three spots in the team standings to fifth place. The Bears have a two-day total of 625 (316-309), which is 26 shots behind first-place Sewanee (301-298, 599).
Junior Jessica Wibawa tired a career-best with a two-over 74 to move into a tie for 14th place in the individual standings with a 153 (79-74). Wibawa had four birdies in the round, including three on the front. Sophomore Erin Drolet also sits in the top-20 at 19th place with a two-day total of 154 (75-79).
The final round of the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Invitational tees off Sunday at 8 a.m. (ET).
