St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 25, 2018 – Senior forward Madeline Homoly of the No. 18-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball team was selected to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth Team, as announced by the website on Thursday.
Homoly, enters her third season on the Danforth Campus and is a two-time D3hoops.com Central Region First Team honoree in addition to a Fourth Team All-America selection following the 2016-17 season. She is also a two-time All-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection.
Last season she started all 27 games for the Bears and led the team in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 reb/g). Homoly posted a 49.2 FG% and 74.7-percent FT% on the season. She also averaged 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Homoly averaged the second-best NCAA Tournament scoring average (25.5 ppg) in two games played.
