ON THE SCHEDULE THIS WEEK WashU faces No. 11 University of Rochester (16-2, 6-1 UAA) on Friday and Emory University (10-8, 4-3 UAA) on Sunday at home in the WU Field House one week after traveling to both campuses for University Athletic Association (UAA) play.

HISTORY VS. OPPOSITION WashU holds a 44-18 edge in the all-time meetings with Rochester, but fell to the Yellowjackets on Jan. 26, 69-65. The two teams split the season series last year with both teams winning their home contests. Against Emory, WashU has a 52-6 all-time record including a 12-game winning streak. The Bears swept last year's series beating the Eagles 76-65 on Jan. 13 and 82-78 on Feb. 10.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE According to D3hoops.com's strength of schedule rating system which utilizes a three part system of opponents' winning percentage and opponents' opponents' winning percentage, WashU has the fifth most difficult schedule (.635). The Bears are 2-3 against teams currently listed in the top-25 poll.

KEYS TO VICTORY WashU is 10-0 on the season when they outrebound the opponent and also 6-0 when they work their way to the free throw line more often than the opposition. In Rochester's narrow victory over the Bears, the Yellowjackets held a 41-40 advantage in rebounds while attempting 13 more free throws than WashU's 10. Rochester made 15 free-throws compared to the Bears' seven.

CLIMBING THE CHARTS Senior guard Natalie Orr ascended into fifth place all-time in three-pointers made at WashU in program history as she shot 4-of-6 from three-point range against NYU on Jan. 14. She has totaled 135 three-pointers in her career. Junior guard Rachael Sondag's 128 triples made is tied for sixth all-time in three-pointers made with Zoë Unruh. Sondag is two treys shy of tying her personal-best season total of 53 from a year ago, which is the ninth most within a single season in WashU history.

STEADY HAND After a career-high six assists with one turnover in the Bears' win over Emory, senior guard Shelby Mann vaulted herself into the top-25 in DIII assist-to-turnover ratio with a mark of 2.38 which ranks 13th overall and first in the UAA.

BRINGING OUT THE BEST UAA play has brought out the best in senior guard Natalie Orr as she is averaging 14.4 ppg, 8 reb/g while shooting 47.3% from the field.
