ON THE SCHEDULE THIS WEEK WashU continues University Athletic Association (UAA) play when it hosts Brandeis University (8-3, 0-1 UAA) Friday evening and New York University (8-4, 1-0 UAA) Sunday afternoon.

HISTORY VS. OPPOSITION WashU is 55-3 all-time against Brandeis and 43-18 all-time against New York. The Bears have a 19-game win streak over the Judges and will put a three-game streak on the line against the Violets.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE The Bears have the fourth toughest schedule according to NCAA Statistics that utilizes both the past and future opposition win percentage. WashU's cumulative opposition winning percentage is .687. The three losses by the Bears were to Wisconsin Lutheran (10-1), Austin (10-4 and riding an eight-game winning streak since the McWilliams Classic) and Chicago (10-2).

• RECORDS TO WATCH FOR Senior guard Natalie Orr is one three-pointer shy of moving into a tie for eighth place all-time in the three-point field goals made in school history. Orr currently has 124 triples, one shy of Beth Ruether (Venturella). Meanwhile junior guard Rachael Sondag moved into a tie for 10th all-time in school history with Jordan Thompson when she connected on two three-pointers to match Thompson's 114 career triples..  Sondag currently has the top three-point field goal percentage (41.9%) in school history, slightly ahead of Laura Crowley (41.8%) and Orr (41.3%).

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN For the first time in 133 consecutive polls by D3hoops.com WashU was absent from the Top-25. The streak was the second longest active streak behind Amherst. The Bears received 11 votes, but after a loss to University of Chicago, the Maroons claimed WashU's spot in the Top-25 as the Bears were the only team to fall out of the poll this week.

FROM DOWNTOWN WashU has the fourth ranked 3-point field goal percentage in Division III, hitting 40.7-percent of its shots from beyond the arc. Junior forward Stephanie Botkin's 50-percent leads the University Athletic Association (UAA), while junior guard Rachael Sondag is second with a 44.6-percent clip which ranks 26th in Division III (Botkin does not have enough attempts to qualify nationally). Sondag's 3.36 three-point field goals per game ranks eighth in Division III.

• THREE OF THE TOP FIVE Sophomore forward Kristina Schmelter (55.4%), junior forward Madeline Homoly (51.8%) and junior forward Stephanie Botkin (49.0%) have the second, fourth and fifth best field-goal percentages in the UAA.
