Homoly Named D3hoops.com Preseason All-American


St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 7, 2017 – Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball junior forward Madeline Homoly was named to the 2017-18 D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Second Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Homoly, a Fourth-Team All-America selection a year ago by D3hoops.com, averaged a team high 14.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. She exceeded 20 points eight times last season, including a career-high 33 points at Case Western Reserve on January 29.

The Kansas City, Mo.-native also earned first-team all-Region and first-team all-University Athletic Association (UAA) honors in her first year with the Bears. She ranked fourth in the UAA in field goals made (170), fifth in field goal percentage (51.8) and fifth in total points (418).
