Men’s Indoor Track Wins I-55 Triangular, Women Second

Bloomington, Ill., Jan. 25, 2020 – The No. 14-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's indoor track and field team captured 10 event titles to win the I-55 Triangular Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill.

The No. 2 women posted four first-place finishes to finish second behind No. 4 Chicago.

Freshman Gio Alfred won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.19 to move up to eighth in NCAA Division III, while the 4x400 relay team of senior Greigory Dimailig, junior Andrew Whitaker, junior Arthur Santoro, junior John Harry Wagner also captured a first-place finish and are eighth in D3. Senior Collis McKenzie recorded a PR in the high-jump (2.00m) and is 15th in D3.

Junior Caira Watson-Haynes led the women's team by sweeping the 60m hurdles (8.80) and the 60m (7.88). The 60m hurdles time is top in D3, while the 60m time is 12th in D3.
