Finglass Leads WashU Diving on Day One of UAAs 

Chicago, Ill., Feb. 12, 2020 – Freshman Rosie Finglass posted a 10th-place finish in the one-meter dive Wednesday as the Washington University in St. Louis swimming and diving team opened the four-day 2020 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships in Chicago. 

Finglass record a score of 372.15 to finish 10th in the preliminaries and just missed the cut for the finals. Junior Lydia Kang also competed and placed 17th with a preliminary score of 298.60.

The WashU women sit in fifth place after day one with 26 points. 

The 2020 UAA Championships continue on Thursday with nine events beginning at 10 a.m., followed by finals in those events at 5:30 p.m.
