Swimming & Diving Sweeps Team Titles at WashU Invite

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 10, 2020 – The Washington University in St. Louis men's and women's swimming and diving team combined to capture 13 events as the Bears swept the WashU Invitational Friday at Millstone Pool in St. Louis.

The WashU women recorded 935.5 points, to finish well ahead of second place Rhodes (471.5). UMSL (393), Maryville (191) and Williams Baptist (23) rounded out the five-team field.

On the men's side, the Bears tallied 828 points to capture the team title. UMSL (535) was second, followed by Maryville (290), Rhodes (246) and Williams Baptist (55).

WashU takes on NCAA Division II McKendree University on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the McKendree Rec Plex in O'Fallon, Ill. The meet is set to begin at Noon.
