St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 8, 2017 – The 2017 University Athletic Association (UAA) Swimming and Diving Championship begins Wednesday, Feb. 8 and runs through Saturday, Feb. 11 at the University of Chicago's Ratner Athletic Center.
Championship coverage includes live stream and live results available free of charge by Chicago's athletic department. The links are provided above, as well as the UAA championship page and program.
The Championship features several of the top NCAA Division III programs according to the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) national poll. Emory University has the top rankings for both the women's and men's UAA programs.
On the women's side Emory ranks No. 1, followed by New York University (5), WashU (6), Chicago (8), Carnegie Mellon University (Tied-10) and University of Rochester (22). The men also have six teams in the top-25: Emory (2), NYU (6), WashU (7), Carnegie Mellon (9), Chicago (T-11) and Case Western Reserve University (24).
The Bears finished as runners-up on both the men's and women's side last season. Brad Shively and his coaching staff were awarded the UAA Men's Swimming Coaching Staff of the Year following the runner-up status.
