Kaitlyn Dulac enters her third season as Washington University's first-ever full-time assistant softball coach. Dulac also serves as the recruiting coordinator for the Bears.

While assisting head coaches Leticia Pineda-Boutté and Michelle Venturella the past two seasons, WashU has posted a 62-26 overall record with two seasons of 25 or more wins and two appearances in the NCAA Tournament. The Bears won won the 2017 University Athletic Association (UAA) championship, earning Dulac a spot on the 2017 UAA Coaching Staff of the Year.

She brought seven years of coaching experience to the Danforth Campus, most recently serving as the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach at La Salle Academy in Providence, R.I., since 2013. Dulac also spent four years (2009-12) as an assistant varsity coach at St. Mary Academy in East Providence.

She was a four-year standout player at NCAA Division III Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. Dulac hit .496 as a senior in 2006 to earn Empire 8 Player of the Year and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Third-Team All-America honors. She helped lead Ithaca to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including trips to the World Series in 2005 and 2006.

Dulac was also a four-time all-conference selection and picked up ECAC Upstate Player of the Year and ESPN The Magazine First-Team Academic All-District honors in 2006. She ranks third in school history in batting average (.372), fourth in RBIs (110) and seventh in runs scored (109).

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Ithaca in 2006, and a master’s degree in business administration from Ithaca in 2007. Dulac also received her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2010.
