St. Louis, Mo., July 7, 2014 – Washington University in St. Louis head softball coach Leticia Pineda-Boutté announced that six student-athletes will join the Bears' program as freshmen for the 2015 season.

The six players hail from five different states: Maggie Clapp, Mackenzie Gauden, Ashley Madsen, Anna McKee, Hera Tang and Melinique Walls.

"This is the biggest incoming freshman class in my nine seasons at Washington University and we are extremely excited to have them join our family," said Pineda-Boutté, who is 283-108-1 (.694) in nine seasons on the Danforth Campus. "We are adding a great mix of talents from pitching and catching to speed and power hitters.
