Men’s Tennis to Host ITA Central Regional


St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 27, 2018 Washington University in St. Louis will serve as host of the 2018 ITA Division III Men's Central Regional, set for Friday-Monday, Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis.

This marks the fourth time in the last 13 years WashU has hosted the Central Regional, also serving as host in 2006, 2011 and 2015.

Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park will serve as the main site, while WashU's Tao Tennis Center and Westminster Christian Academy will also host tournament play.

The USTA/ITA Central Regional will consist of 32 schools and more than 200 student-athletes. Jake Zalenski of Kenyon College is the top seed in singles, while Tyler Raclin and Jeremy Yuan of the University of Chicago are the top seed in doubles.

The winners of the singles and doubles brackets advance to the 2018 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships, held Oct. 11-14, at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.
