Newport, R.I., Sept. 16, 2018 – Washington University in St. Louis senior Konrad Kozlowski captured the Arthur Ashe Flight with a straight-set singles victory Sunday at the 2018 Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational, held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I.
Kozlowski won the all WashU contest besting senior Radha Vishnubhotla 7-6, 7-5 in the championship match. He was a perfect 3-0 during the three-day event, winning two of three matches in straight sets.
Neves ousted Wilson Hamilton of Trinity (Texas) 6-2, 6-1, while van der Sman defeated Jordan Pitts of Trinity 6-1, 7-5.
WashU hosts the 2018 ITA Central Regional on Friday-Sunday, Sept. 28-30, at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
