No. 4 WashU Men's Tennis Falls at Division I SIU Carbondale

Carbondale, Ill., Feb. 19, 2017 – The No. 4-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season with a 6-1 defeat at Division I Southern Illinois University Carbondale Sunday in Carbondale, Ill.

SIU Carbondale won its fourth-straight match to improve to 4-1, while WashU dropped to 1-1.

Sophomore Radha Vishnubhotla, the reigning University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week, posted the lone victory with a 7-6 (7-4) 1-6, 10-6 win at No. 4 singles.
