No. 2 Men’s Tennis Takes Down Earlham for 16th-Straight Home Win
St. Louis, Mo., April 5, 2014 – The No. 2-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team won its 16th-straight home match with a 9-0 victory over Earlham College Saturday afternoon at the Tao Tennis Center in St. Louis.
Washington U. jumped in front 3-0 with a doubles sweep, it's five of the season. The Bears won three straight-set matches in singles to jump in front 6-0, and then completed the sweep by winning three more singles matches in three sets.
Washington U. (13-2) opens a four-match road swing at Division II University of Missouri-St. Louis Wednesday, April 9, at 4 p.m.
