No. 1 Men’s Tennis Downs No. 11 Bowdoin 7-2 in California

Claremont, Calif., March 11, 2014 – The No. 1-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team ran its winning streak to six matches with a 7-2 victory over No. 11 Bowdoin College Tuesday afternoon in Claremont, Calif. The win for Washington U. was its sixth over a ranked opponent this season (6-0).

Washington U. (8-1) will have two days off before returning to action Friday, March 14, against conference-rival No. 19 Carnegie Mellon University. The match is set to begin at 9 a.m. (PT) in Claremont, Calif.
