No. 1 Bears Get Past No. 11 Carnegie, No. 7 Emory at Stag-Hen Invite

Claremont, Calif. March 14, 2014 – The No. 1-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team ousted a pair of University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents Friday to advance to the championship match of the Stag-Hen Invitational in Claremont, Calif.

Behind a pair of doubles sweeps, Washington U. defeated No. 11 Carnegie Mellon University 6-3 in the quarterfinals and No. 7 Emory University 6-3 in the semifinals.

UP NEXT: Washington U. takes on No. 3-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (11-0) in the championship match Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (ET).
