Richard "Rock" Rone enters his 10th season as an assistant coach with the Washington University in St. Louis men's soccer team in 2015.

Prior to joining the WUSTL coaching staff in 2006, Rone served as the head women's soccer coach at Harris-Stowe State University from 1995-2005. While at Harris-Stowe, he led the Hornets to an 87-79-12 record. From 1996-2001, Rone also worked as the head girls soccer coach at Nerinx Hall High School in St. Louis, leading his teams to a 118-16-8 record in that time.

Rone is employed by the Animal Protection Association of Missouri in animal care and maintenance.
