Ben Strozewski Named CoSIDA Academic All-District


St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 9, 2017 – Washington University in St. Louis junior midfielder Ben Strozewski was named to the 2017 Academic All-District Five Division III Men's Soccer First Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

Strozewski started 12 of 14 games played and had three goals and three assists for nine points, which was second on the the squad. He scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Case Western Reserve University Oct. 13.

A two-time Academic all-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection, Strozewski has a 3.89 grade point average while majoring in physics.

To be eligible for nomination to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must be a starter or an important reserve.

Strozewski is now eligible to be selected to the Academic All-America Team, announced Dec. 5.
