With 40 of years of coaching experience in the St. Louis community, Steve Wilcutt enters his third season as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Washington University in St. Louis.
While on staff, WashU has accumulated a 39-12 overall record and won the 2018 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Wilcutt joined the WashU staff after retiring from John Burroughs High School in St. Louis where he was the head boys basketball coach for the past 29 years. During his tenure as the head coach he recorded 456 wins. Wilcutt also served as the head girls golf coach and taught in the physical education department.
He will assist in local recruiting and player development, as well as practice and game coaching.
