CARNEGIE MELLON SERIES – WashU leads the all-time series with Carnegie Mellon University 53-9, and the Bears have won seven-straight meetings between the two teams.

CASE WESTERN RESERVE SERIES – WashU leads the all-time series with Case Western Reserve University 48-5, and the Bears have won the last eight meetings.

HEAD COACH PAT JUCKEM – WashU head coach Pat Juckem (Lawrence, 1995) was named the 24th men's basketball coach in program history on May 1, 2018. Juckem arrived on the Danforth Campus after spending the past six seasons as the head coach at Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He compiled a 95-73 (.565) record at UW-Oshkosh. He also spent seven seasons at Coe (2006-12), and has a 211-159 (.570) overall record in 14 seasons as a head coach.

MASSEY RATINGS – The University Athletic Association (UAA) is the sixth-rated conference in NCAA Division III, according to the Massey Ratings. Below is the list of the schools and their rankings: Emory (No. 31), WashU (No. 42), Chicago (No. 49), Rochester (No. 61), Brandeis (No. 86), Carnegie Mellon (No. 161), Case Western Reserve (No. 165) and New York (No. 276).

SECOND HALF OF UAA PLAY BEGINS – Since the UAA began its current conference-scheduling format in 2001-02–including a home-and-home series to end the first and start the second half of league play–the Bears have a 24-10 record in the two back-end games of the home-and-home series. The Bears won both games with Rochester and Emory a year ago.

BEAR TRACKS – Junior forward Hank Hunter is second in the UAA in FG% (.657) and third in rebounding (8.3). Hunter has also taken over the top spot for WashU career field-goal percentage at 63.2. Kevin Folkl (1992-96) is second at 63.1.

– Sophomore guard Jack Nolan has connected on 20-straight free-throws, and is 55-of-58 (94.8 percent) in his career. Nolan's mark would be the top in NCAA history at any level, but does not qualify. (Minimum 250 free throws made). Nolan's uncle Gene (1992-96) is tops in school history at 85.7 percent.

– The Bears lead the UAA in field-goal percentage (.485) and rebounding defense (30.8).

– WashU is on pace (77.5) to shatter the single-season school record for free-throw percentage of 74.2 percent set in the 2006-07 season.

– The Bears have allowed 58.6 points per game during the season-long five-game win streak.
