Men’s Basketball Announces Class of 2022 

St. Louis, Mo., July 5, 2018 – Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball first-year head coach Pat Juckem announced that six student-athletes will join the Bears' program as freshmen for the 2018-19 season.

The six players hail from four different states: Steve Egresits, Chicago, Ill. (Jones)Gordon Gibson, Chevy Chase, Md. (Bethesda-Chevy Chase), Justin Hardy, St. Charles, Ill. (St. Charles East), Charlie Jacob, Arden Hills, Minn. (Totino-Grace), Kameron Mack, Algonquin, Ill. (Jacobs) and David Windley, Brentwood, Tenn. (Brentwood).

"We are ecstatic to have this group of young men joining our WashU basketball family," said Juckem. "In addition to their basketball talent, this is a group of exceptional students with high character. They will add to the championship culture that exists at WashU."

WashU finished the season with a 22-4 overall record, the program's 18th 20-win season. The Bears won their 15th UAA championship to earn the league's automatic bid and made their 21st NCAA Tournament appearance.
